I have a friend that a couple years ago found a dead mom (hit by car), and the fawn just laying beside her. Took her home, and we all got to come bottle feed her and take care of her. They are such sweet, incredibly wonderful creatures. Can't understand how anyone could hunt them (I am a firm believer that all meat originates in those little saran wrapped packages in the store). she eventually went to live with a friend of theirs who integrated her back into the wild. I remember petting her, nuzzling with her, and watching my son be chased by her. Thanks for the memory! Virg
