Thank you, bamamama!! No, PP is not necessary at all with these blocks! Simply add a scrap to your corner by sewing them each at different angles and you'll have a wonky snowball. Turn them so angles are opposing each other for a truly wonky look! I first drew some blocks of how I wanted them to look and meet each other, but after awhile, I abandoned that idea and just made sure I sewed them on at different angles. I stopped counting at 8 different ways I figured a WSB could be made and a plan wasn't necessary. However, all light snowballs didn't look right so I had to throw in some dark snowballs with light corners to keep it interesting. This is a great block to use up small pieces of scraps if you have them! Plus, I love snowballs anyway and wanted a round type shape to contrast with the sharp points of the stars. Hope yours turn out great!! Give it a try and you'll love it!
