I did end up selecting another Viking to replace my 400 with the fried main board. Since it was 10-12 years old, I figured it would be better to replace than repair. I bought the Sapphire 830 with the 10" throat and lots of decorative stitches for $999. I only got to "play" for an hour last night, but so far it's great! I'm even taking some vacation time this week so I can make up for lost sewing time! :lol:
