I sew mine to the front of the quilt, press it well to set the seam, then flip it over to the back and press within an inch of its life, mitering corners with the pressing and then whip it down on the back. If you do the pressing, you probably will not have to clip or pin the binding while you are blind stitching the binding. froggyintexas
