I have to agree with Kristin. I used to do only hand quilting, and did many "stab" stitches. Once you get going, it just comes naturally. Good luck. Your top is lovely.

PS. Kristin. Just went back and saw your Log Cabin with the quilting. What beautiful quilting on a lovely quilt!
