I also agree with this suggestion for the card.
MQC didn't design the quilt, they show the method of creating the tube and cutting. I love the company and am always checking their sight for new tutorials. But they show us shortcuts, construction help and ideas of things we can do with what we create using their tutorials. They give us ideas of how to make things easier for us to use the products they sell, and to encourage us to buy. Great for marketing. Just my humble opinion
I also don't think I would mention that this was made from scraps or leftovers (tends to have a negative connotation). Unless someone is a quilter I think it would devalue the quality of the quilt for auction bidders. Only another quilter would appreciate this information. Again, JMHO.
