While I know it can be baked in almost any kind of container, I still like the soup can size for neat little slice of Date/Nut bread. This also gives me a good excuse to no longer have to bake. At my age, it is time to knock a few baking jobs off my list of house hold chores. i cannot bake and sew and I would rather be piecing quilts.
The strawberry butter is also served in other places around the area, and especially in Indiana. I recall having it several years ago.
