When I ship a FW, I put an empty spool of thread on the spindle or just remove the whole spool pin plate so that the new owner can put it back on and not worry about breakage. I pack them very well
so they can withstand what UPS puts packages through. They are dropped 5-6 feet off the end of the conveyor belt. YIKES! :shock:[/quote]
My screw that holds the spindle plate on is stripped, the thread on the top of the screw is damaged. Has this ever happened to you and how did you get the screw out? did you have to drill it out? thanks for any help.
