My guesstimate would be 1939 vintage, as that's the year they were married and I suspect it was part of her original trousseau or gifts.
I still have it ... and it's been washed many times and still looks lovely. Though now it only gets TLC
I agree. I had one as a child (not the same design but the same chenille). I was born 1944. I also remember having a bath robe made of this wide spaced chenille. Its a treasure, to be sure!
