I take one tablet of melatonin each night, and it helps. My doctor raised my antidepressant from 50 mg to 100 mg, when I described not being able to relax and not have everything going through my mind. I also use some mental imaging, as picturing a flowing brook with soothing sounds, and I use a lavendar gel on my hands before I go to bed. However, I have a problem with using my quiet time after my hubby goes to bed to cruise through topics on the computer and sometimes become too "revved up" to go to sleep right away. I am a chronic night-owl!
