Wow. You have faced many adversities in your life. I'm glad that your grandmother was there for you. I'm also glad that you were able to cherish her love of quilting.
I watched her sit at the dining room table as a child and watched her make quilts with her friends to send them up north to the less fortunate in the Northwest Territories. She was an amazing quilter.
