September 17 is the Annual Apple Festival at Historic Bethabara Park in Winston-Salem, NC. My mother and I are having an exhibition of our quilts in a show titled: "Living 1/4" from the Edge". I am also giving 2 talks/presentations in the Visitors Center that day. If you are nearby, it is a great day in a historic park with fun activities, music and quilts! In addition to our exhibit and discussion of modern methods and quilts, there will also be a re-enactor demonstrating original/old-timing quilting on a frame. More info is here:
