Tisha posted this earlier in the year..I feel like I was a part of the whole process of this quilt..she sent me a photo of some fat quarters as asked what I would do with them...and they were Named "Charisma" of course I had to come up with something.
I said "Focus Pocus" that Swirly Girls pattern that I love so much! I made one ...although it still isn't quilted.
She bough the pattern..made the quilt....and sent it to me for longarming....

She requested the continous curve bumps in the squares.....wreaths and swirling feathers...with purple thread ( Thanks Dmyers!..you sent the perfect color! and i love the brand!)...now I found this so difficult because as a freehand quilter..I am not perfect...so making everything match perfectly when you have a high contrast thread is :cry: difficult..LOL. But we made it through...I love the way it turned out....
The backing is just as beautiful as the front..I love pieced backings anyway...but you can also see much of the quilting. Beautiful finish!
I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used HObbs Poly down batting.
