Yes, I have a TV, DVD player, Stereo so something is on. I use the dvr to record The Waltons 3 daily programs from Hallmark in my sewing room or I watch movies I have recorded. Favorite channels are Hallmark, Natgeo, History, local PBS and a very few reality shows.. Fons & Porter whhich I transfer to DVDs
