Yeah all that Wonder under is different. Some say use steam others say no steam. I've never really had a problem with it but have used the glue stick before as ck mentioned. I did try the spray once. I don't recommend it.
Glad your doing applique. Thats my favorite. You can do so much. What stitch are using to applique? When I first learned to do it someone showed me the buttonhole stitch way so thats the way I do about eveything. Sometimes I switch to zigzag but I'm really not use to doing it.
