I always dreamed of a big old farmhouse with a large wraparound porch for my porch swing and a huge kitchen. What I got when we built what we could afford was a small development-style house with a tiny kitchen, no sewing room (had to give it up when kids came along). We did eventually build a deck the length of the house and 12 feet wide onto the back. We sure could use another bathroom. And we are blessed to live out in the country on my family dairy farm. I'm still dreaming of adding on. It never hurts to dream. :wink:
