Great fabric combos! And will make for a cheery winter quilt indeed.

For best results "press" (not iron) every seam, as you go ... and then it continues to get re-pressed as you do the next seams.

That is a two part process .... first you "set the seam" (press seam as it lays after you sew it) then the second step, is to press the seam so it lays flat as it will in the finished quilt.

You'll be all the more thrilled with your results if you take the time to do this little extra, as you go.
