I have learned that when I ask "how do you like my quilt?" He hears...try to find all the mistakes and question me on WHY I did / chose that. I don't ask anymore. BUT when he talks to his friends he always brags about my quilts. He is very supportive of my quilting because now I can't get on him about all he spends on his hobbies...it's kind of a draw now. Don't ask, don't tell.
Listen to others but do what you want, it's totally your creation.
