Today I have been cleaning up a 28K with a view to posting a video on our Youtube channel - Muvandfarve . It will be full instructions on how to clean and oil a vintage machine. I'll post the link as soon as it's posted, which should be in a few days.

Can't believe the prices you pay in the States. Sorry ladies, you are all in the wrong country.
We've had a busy time making videos about cleaning up a machine. It's a 1900 Singer 28K, and the video turned into a two part epic, 26 minutes in total, so you might need a cup of tea and a sandwich to keep you going. You can watch on Youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bidpJsAzc2A for Part 1 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKR5t4DyPwM for Part 2
