Hi Gloria! Welcome from a fellow Kansan (living in Texas). Worked in Overland Park for about 9 years. Beautiful city and my youngest still lives there, in Mission, Ks. Maybe we will meet up one of these days. I wish you all the luck with your quilting. I would start smaller than a full quilt. Lap quilt is good, and needed when watching TV in the winter :)
