I was a rather ambitious newbee quilter and decided that a lone star would be a good beginner option. I cut all those bias cuts, laid all the tiers out and sewed like there was no tomorrow. It did seem a little odd at the time but I kept moving on. Not til I had to put the big star wedges together did I notice that my color wave did NOT radiate from the center out, but INSTEAD I had it radiating into each point. Still have not finished that piece.
