I looked in "The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns" by Jinny Beyer. She has is listed as a Wheel Of Fortune, first published in the Quilt Book, Collection 1, ca. 1965. It is pieced using a 7x7 base grid.
What a great quilt to have! Quilts are great time capsules of style and color. Love it!
