Just wanted to add that she sells a very inexpensive generic foot on her website and it can be ordered for any shank type. I wouldn't want to try this with an expensive name brand foot but will certainly give this a try with a generic one. Also I am going to try putting a plastic zip tie across the top where she uses the rubber band to use as a spacer. Then the extra can be cut off rather than wadded around the top. Don't know why she didn't just cut that top metal part back rather than bend it out of the way. Ann in TN
