Baby Quilt Question:
The best I could come up with would be 20 strips:
20 x 40" = 800"
double once: 400" x 4.5"
double twice: 200" x 8.5"
double three times: 100" x 16.5
last time: approx. 50" x 32.5
Plus what ever size borders you want.
OR
18 strips:
18 x 40" = 720"
double once: 360" x 4.5"
double twice: 180" x 8.5"
double three times: 90" x 16.5"
last time: approx 45" x 32.5"
Plus borders.
Should work great!
Not sure about the baby vest...scraps?
Thanks! Got fabric for the center today. Only 10 diff patterns. Thinking of cutting strips at 2" x 20, might look better for a baby quilt. The vest will be for her mom, made over a sweatshirt.
Gone nuts the last few days buying bali pops and 1/4 yards from bolts. Our last kid moved out a month ago, might have to convert that bedroom into a sewing room. Stripping the cabinet for my new vintage machine. Almost done, ready for finish color and wax.
