Unfortunately, it hurts many people when individuals undercharge for their products or services. Those prices are not even reasonable nor are they in line with what others charge for long arm quilting. Same for quilts. That is why when we consider selling a quilt there are people who will say, oh, so and so would only charge $100 for that, when WE know that it is that much in materials plus hours and hours of time in the quilt. Or my all time favorite comment on a baby quilt I made "I could get that for less at K-Mart!"

Bartering is great when you can find a match, but if you are going to sell a product or service it is wise to see what others charge.
