My serger tends to be fairly sensitive, so that gets new ones pretty regularly...better that than messed up lower or upper loopers. Very special projects get new needles. Otherwise, I inspect needle points via magnifying glass to see if they're still looking good enough to use, but first sign of trouble and they're in the trash. Yeah, no jars or containers, am I bad?
