Can you adjust the pressure on your sewing foot on that machine? It sounds like there is too wide a gap between the feed dogs and the foot and the material is not filling the void. I can adjust the pressure on my Brother to accommodate different thicknesses of fabric.It grabs the fabric as well as (if not better) than my Pfaff.
