This is such a pretty quilt (in my eyes). When I first saw it I was not a big fan of the colors. The quilt top was made by a friend of mine and she chose pink in the quilt with a brown taupe color border. I am not a fan of either of these colors, but as I started working on it.... I really like it. I did an edge to edge flower design in the center of the quilt, with just stitching in the ditch for the small border. Then I did a swirl loop block pattern in the brown border.
