Colleen showed this quilt before...and it is so lovely.
All of these butterflies are hankies that have been sewn and embroidered...What a special memory quilt.
I just did swirls in the background...in the small sashings i just traced over the lines that were already there...just to quilt it but not compete with her fussy cut sashing.
Same with the border I just did micro stipple around the big flowers.... in blue thread.
It's a beautiful quilt..perfect to hang on the wall.

I quilted everything freehand on an INNOVA( 26). I used hobbs polydown batting.
