The best tip I can give you is to save up some money and pay for a professional to teach her. I tried teaching my daughter and she got mad every time I had to scream at her, even though I only screamed when after telling her to slow down or stop 20 times, she only listened when she was 5 feet away from a mail box or half way down into a gutter. She never got her license, but it was her choice. I paid someone and she was ready. Moved to NYC and had no need for it after all.
