I was here not only for "IRENE" but also for the earthquake!
I was in WA state for the Nisqually earthquake, but the quake here in VA
was more scary (to me).... and IRENE passed very close to us and exited back to the ocean in VA beach, yikes, but we (our neighborhood) it's OK! thank God!
We had a LOT of rain that started on Friday, and very strong wind and rain Saturday night, no electricity till late evening on Monday! Keep the folks in NY, NJ, VT in our prayers!
