Nancy,
I have'nt did that, but I did do a throw pillow with crayons. I stamped picturw to a white cotton square ,(a vintage picture of a lady with a hat on) and colored with crayola crayons the hat, ribbon, flowers etc, and then embroidery around it all. Sold it at my gift shop and now people are asking for more,
I thought about doing a quilt with squares like this . We'll see.

To do this you just stamp the pattern on your fabric, color the parts you want collored. Place a brown paper bag down ,lay a piece of waxed paper on it and lay your square face down on the wax paper and iron. That sets the crayons . Then you can embroidery the rest of it. Different....
