My dad, aged 90, has been ill lately and had a checkup at his doctor's office today. I was taking him for his appointment and noticed that he had on two different colored socks....one black and one navy blue. When I pointed that out, he said, "Oh, I took my socks out of the drawer without turning on the light." Then, after a few minutes, he said, "And you know what? I have another pair in there just like these!"
It's so good to know his sense of humor is still intact! :D
Plus, he got a really good report from the doctor. It made our day!
