When I was nursing student, we had psychiatrist instructor. He wore mismatched argyle socks every day! What fun we youngsters had laughing at him (privately) every day.Finally someone had enough nerve to mention it to him. He said he did this with every new class to see how long it would take for someone to tell him about his mismatched socks. After that day his socks always matched. I guess the joke was on us? Maybe Dad was "just testing".
