I used to give large pieces of white butcher paper to my nephews and had them draw and decorate to their hearts content and then used that as gift wrap for their parents and grandparents. We had a blast doing it, and every last scrap of that wrapping was saved. My mother even cut out some favorite sections and had them matted and framed. Still has them, and the youngest is in college.
