I'm beginning to believe that the cave house my Army engineering son-in-law was designing some years ago a darn good thing to do. It would be fire proof, have a huge sliding fireproof window that would be activated to slide down at a certain degree of heat. It would have its own sunlight from twisted glass fibers, and when I, his DMIL wanted to visit he would just dig out another room in the back and have it ready for me.
It would also be hurricane proof, almost tornado proof, probably with a far back cement room with its own O2 supply. Safe parking for the cars, and sunlight catchers on the roof for making its own electricity.
Until then, everyone be careful and get ready to hide in a safe basement or wherever is safest. Hard to know these days with earthquakes marching along with tornadoes and hurricanes. Mama Nature is not in a good mood lately.
