LQ shops, online, Wal-Mart, Hancocks, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, garage sales, Goodwill, Kidney Foundation Community Thrift shop, Habitat for Humanity Thrift store... where ever I find it and it is good quality. I have a quilt top I have been working on and the fabric will have cost me about $400 from the LQS. I won't do that again. Just shop around and use you fingers to "feel" the fabric. Ask yourself; can you "see" through it, does it feel skimpy, does it feel like silk as some really nice cottons can, is it too stiff or full of sizing, does it smell, etc. Most of all, I guess I go by "feel"...
