Well I was playing with a lot of different techniques that I have never done before. The Peacock is trupuntoed as well as the leaves, then the beading I had never done before, as well as unusual fabrics the teal in the tail is velveteen, and the border is irridesient satin and then there is purple satin in the tail but all the beading kind of covers it up. Also I normally use a hoop for hand quilting but this time I tried using a larger needle and no hoop. Works ok but I will probably continue to use my hoop.
