It was 37.00$ for a queen size so I don't want to mess it up. It says 4" max between stitching lines, does that mean that I need to cross hatch or something on the 2-1/2" border? I stitched down both sides but now I'm concerned about it seperating lenghtwise, can that happen or am I safe?
I have the same thoughts about my first quilt. While I am using the W&N and it requires 12 inches.. does that mean in every direction?

My best guess is you will be OK, but I would hate for that border to bunch up or something after a couple washings.
