This is a beautiful quilt. My Mother found this online while trying to find a pattern that she wants me to make for her. This is the one she loved. She said "it is a feathered dresden and it has a lot of green in it, you'll know when you see it". So here I am and reading about your friend. That she mattered as much to you to make something to help comfort her during this time is priceless. She will love receiving it and you will love giving it.
