I work hard to encourage my students to make movies in their head while they read. I didn't know that many people who read, don't always make movies in their head. So sad because they are missing out.
You go Kath! I agree completely. I think that is why so many people are disappointed at the movie adaptation of the book. "They" never pick the right actor for the role. I've already got the character in my mind.

I read someplace that the best thing to adapt to a movie is a short story. When you think about it it's true. The movie can be detailed and not gloss over the best parts of a story while to fit a novel into a movie so much has to go.
