Never, ever give up. Every inch you sew is more experience and I'm sure you are much more critical of your work than anyone else would be. I remember I tried to machine quilt an antique quilt top I bought at an auction. Many years later when I realized what I had done I picked out everyone of those awful machine stitches and started over. You would never know to look at it now.
