Hi Karen, truth to tell I'm not a Yorkshire woman having lived here only nineteen years ! Still I love it and I'm so happy to be here,its where I learnt to sew.I was 50yrs old before I discovered the joy of patchwork and I have made so many friends through the craft,even passing on what skill I have and seeing others come to love it.I'm not sure I'm so popular with husbands ! I've been told by some that their wives have developed strange habits and an ever stranger language,one asked " what ever is a fat quarter?"I'll own up now,not sure what part of South Yorkshire you come from but I hail from the home of Robin Hood-----Nottingham.
