I love this Bento Box pattern. In fact, I just finished a top that was made with my quilt group. We each had a month where we picked a "pattern" and everyone in the group make a block for that person. I had the group make one block with just two fabrics, a light and a dark, then I cut them in fourths, mixed them up, then sewed them back into blocks again. Love the way it turned out. Great way to use up scraps for sure. Yours is wonderful and I am now thinking about adding the piano key border like you did. Nice!!!
