Thanks for the help on my slipping treadle belt. It's old and the leather has gotten really slick on the outside. Do you think it would be of any value to maybe rub some fine sandpaper along the belt, to roughen it up again? Or not worth the bother?
I will shorten it and connect with a few passes of dental floss...
