My daughter has asked me to make her a quilt for her twin size bed. She's 15. I've only made 3 or 4 lap quilts so this will be a BIG project for me! We went to the fabric store and bought 9 different fabrics that go great together! The colors are Teal, Orange and Lime Green (Sounds CRAZY but looks awesome!!!). We got two yards of each because I didn't know what I was making. So I'm sitting here wondering what to do with all this fabric I'm staring at now. She wants large blocks so you can see the patterns easily. I showed her a Yellow Brick Road quilt I made but she wants the blocks bigger. Any suggestions on what type of quilt I should make? Because I'm so new at this quilting/piecing thing I'm afraid to just put random sizes of blocks together. Any suggestions would be sooo appreciated!!! Pictures or patterns would be even better!!! :o) By the way, I've spent quite a bit of time on Google already but didn't have anything jump out at me . . .
