Now they are laid out on my carpet. Today I am going to put little numbers and direction stickers, well pinned, to each block so that I can sew all the strips really fast.
Just an idea--what I do when I have a quilt laid out is take a photo of it, number the rows in the photo from the edge, then pick each row up in order. Then I pin a note as to the row # on the top block in each pile. I tape the photo by the sewing machine to double check placement and sew those babies together.
I know it's easier to do what one has always done, but thought I'd toss that in there. ;)
