Also - thinking about you stapling it to the board - mine is not taut and maybe that helps with the stick. I don't know. My friend hung a flannel sheet over her closet doors and used that and it worked perfectly. The sheet is not wrinkly, but definitely not tight as a board, either. Just kinda hanging there.
