No, I haven't oiled the irons. Is Koil gun oil any better than sewing machine oil? I can get that at Meijers.
I've used gun oil... you sure don't want 3 in 1 oil... It goes solid and nothing moves - if you don't have plastic parts use some kerosene on the parts that don't move if the heat didn't do the job someone may have used 3 in 1 oil or you may have rust.
