The quilt as you go method is quicker than the ordinary way of making a quilt. You are making the top and quilting at the same time. A money saver, a very sturdy quilt to be well used. I still make quilt tops the usual way, have them quilted etc. The care you take in making a quilt as you go, determines the quality of the piece just as any other quilt.
